Below you will find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.
Do I need to bring tennis racquets and balls?
We have two racquets and a set of balls available for guests to use; these are left in a box on the court.
Do I need to book the tennis court?
We ask guests to text or email a time when they would like to use the court to ensure that it is not double-booked.
Is breakfast provided?
We offer a Breakfast Pack that guests can preorder in advance of their stay. This consists of 2 thick rashers of bacon, 2 sausages, 2 eggs, 2 hash browns, Heinz Baked Beans (or mushrooms by request).

All of our meat is locally sourced from very good local butchers.
Do you provide meals?
We offer a delicious locally sourced BBQ Pack that guests can preorder before their stay. This consists of 2 sausages, 2 beef burgers, and 2 gammon steaks

We are celebrating a special occasion when we come. Can you help make this extra special?
Yes! We offer a special celebration hamper. This comprises;
✔ A quality bottle of sparkling white wine, sourced from a vineyard 8 miles from Pitch Farm, Herefordshire's White Heron Estate.
✔ A 50ml bottle of White Heron Cassis made from blackcurrants grown on the estate.
✔ A box of six artisan Belgian truffles handmade in Shropshire.
✔ A bag of Two Farmers hand-cooked lightly salted crisps, made in Herefordshire.
✔ Happy Birthday or Heart bunting, beautifully displayed in your cabin.
If you order ahead of your arrival, it will be waiting for you in your cabin as a lovely surprise, all elegantly arranged in a silver bowl.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is after 3.30 pm, and check-out is 10 am
Where can I park?
There are 4 parking spaces inside the orchard gates. Trolley carts are available in the car park for you to use to take your luggage to your cabin.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes, we use Egyptian cotton bedding, allergy-friendly pillows, and luxurious soft towels.
What appliances are in the kitchen?
There is a full-sized oven, fridge with an ice compartment, a two-ring electric hob, a kettle, and a toaster.
Is there WiFI?
Yes, free wifi is provided.
What should I do if I break anything?
Breakages happen. We ask that you let us know so that we can replace the item for the next guest.
How can I leave a review?

What activities can I do when staying?
As well as relaxing in nature and absorbing the orchard sights and sounds, birds singing and bees buzzing, you can also play tennis on the all weather court or ask to use the two mountain bikes available to explore the quiet country lanes that surround the orchard.
How can I BBQ if the weather is poor?
Sausage Corner, our Scandinavian BBQ hut will come to the rescue. When the charcoal blazes it is toasty warm and dry all year round. The hire charge is £30 with charcoal provided.
Are there any creative options to do at Orchard Escapes?
Crafty Corner, our crafting summerhouse, is set in the middle of the orchard, where you can unwind with some creative mindful activities. Materials are available for a range of activities, simply pencil drawing, watercolour painting, stone painting, decoupage (paper patterns on a bottle) and fun jewellery making.
Or you can just sit back and enjoy the lovely views.
Can I spot any birds?
The Orchard attracts many birds, some common, some less so. A red Kite can often be seen wheeling overhead, greater spotted woodpeckers peck and green woodpeckers hop around the ground. Many smaller birds can be seen and heard, binoculars are provided to get a closer look.
